Galerie Mermoz specializes in pre-Columbian Art from Mesoamerica and South America. Its founder, Santo Micali, established in 1970.

Pioneer at the time, he is now a world-renowned expert. He offers an unequaled collection of museum quality pieces, mainly coming from Mexico – Olmec, Mezcala, Colima, Maya, Teotihuacan – but also from Peru, Costa Rica and Argentina.

Member of the S.N.A. (Syndicat National des Antiquaires) since 1975, and also member of the C.N.E. (Compagnie Nationale des Experts), Santo Micali has been involved in the creation of the world’s greatest collections, for important private collectors as well as for major institutions. Some of his pieces are exhibited in the most prestigious museums including the Art Institute of Chicago, Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, Musée du Quai Branly in Paris, Museum Aan de Stroom (MAS) in Antwerp, Musée Barbier-Mueller in Geneva and Miho Museum in Kyoto.
